Project Overview
Modtech designed, manufactured and delivered several office buildings, barracks and common rooms during two separate work sessions during an approximately 18 month period.
The buildings were a 27,000 sq ft office building for the Defense Intelligence Agency, and various barrack buildings and common rooms. The former was to house more than 75 full time instructors and 50-100 students at any one time. The latter consisted of approximately 20 separate barrack buildings and 2 administrative buildings for a total of 120,000 sq ft.
Modtech subcontracted the site work to various small businesses in the Sierra Vista area. Modtech maintained an-on site manager who supervised the work. Phase one was completed within 90 days of the contract issue date and Phase two was completed in 135 days.
