Modular Building Case Study: Diamond Bar High School
Project Overview
The Diamond Bar High School project demonstrates how modular construction can provide additional space quickly with minimal disruption.
To accommodate growth, a permanent two story classroom wing was added to match the existing campus. The overall time required to complete the project was shortened by 40% and the number of workers needed on campus was reduced, as approximately 70-80% of the building was completed in our factory. In addition, the buildings were secure when they arrived decreasing the possibility of theft and vandalism.
The 14,400 square foot addition included features such as stucco exterior,
elevator, attractive center courtyard and roof mounted HVAC units. Similar to our other school facilities, the project included our Moment
Frame construction to improve the strength of the building and increase design flexibility.
